Witton Lodge Community Association started life in 1994, established by local residents, in response to plans to demolish the Perry Common estate. From then on, we have tirelessly helped the local community – through the demolition of the old estate and the rebuilding of the new – keeping the local community at the centre of this process and ensuring local people influence decisions.
We’re an ambitious and growing organisation; if you enjoy working as part of a team, putting your skills to good use and making a real difference, read on to explore our current opportunities at Witton Lodge Community Association.
We also have an interesting range of Volunteering Opportunities available and if there’s something that you would like to do that’s not listed at the moment, please let us know.
At Witton Lodge Community Association, you won’t just have a job; you’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in improving our communities and transforming lives.

Volunteering can be a rewarding experience. Getting involved in new projects, learning new skills and helping your local community at the same time. Whether you are looking to boost your skills or simply want to meet new people, we have a range of volunteering opportunities that may suit you.
You could be based here in our main office at Perry Common Community Hall; helping residents at Sycamore Court, Independent Living Scheme; supporting the team at Witton Lakes Eco Hub or helping to organise one of our many community events; – or anything else you may want to do.
We are a friendly and welcoming team and genuinely appreciate the help of our volunteers. What’s more, all your volunteering will directly benefit your local community.
We are looking to recruit volunteers who are interested in providing support to people suffering loneliness and/or emotional distress across North Birmingham – with a focus on Erdington, Kingstanding, Perry Barr and Great Barr (click on link below)
